Odalisque with Squeak Toy

40 x 34"
3D visualization and digital composite on cotton, stitching

Created because there are plenty of nudes of human females but all too few of dogs.

The surface design was rendered in Blender, using 3D assets from a variety of sources, then Ryan was composited in. The resulting image was then printed on cotton fabric and stitched, a tedious process which involved a great deal of grumbling and periodic injections of coffee.

The throw is a tribute to my late grandmother, who was an accomplished tatter.
