Leaving Home at Library of Congress

My artwork, Leaving Home: Launch of the Apollo 8, will be on display at the Library of Congress starting July 16, part of a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. Per this article, it’ll be in the Science and Business Reading Room in the John Adams Building. Should be neat. The exhibit it’s in, Fly Me to the Moon, has gotten around during the past few years, landing everywhere from the Johnson Space Center to the National Quilt museum, and points in between.

The Library of Congress is one of my favorite places in the USA, so what a lovely piece of news that your quilt will hang there. I’m headed to DC in the fall, and will have to check if the exhibit is still up. Congratulations!

    Wow, that’s amazing! Congratulations.

  3. Just wondering how you’re doing these days, since I’m not on the dreaded Facebook. Sending love in these viral times,
