Yesterday was a banner day. This blog received not one, but TWO pieces of comment spam, its very first. Isn’t that exciting? I figure this is akin a housewarming, as when one finds those first leaflets for maid services or tree trimming on the doorstep after moving into a house. It’s a sign that you’ve arrived and you’re well on the way to settling in.
This is a real blog now. The spammers say so.

I just HAD to leave a comment here to tell you how very much I enjoyed the phrase, “laser etching of Kielbasa” on the QuiltArt list. Genius! Glad to add your blog to my reading list!
Hi Elizabeth! Thank you for stopping by! I wish I could claim that the idea of laser etching Kielbasa was original. However, a friend of mine does just that. In fact, she’ll laser etch darned near anything that doesn’t move, including tapioca and toilet paper. It warms the cockles of my heart, knowing that technology is being used in such a fine fashion.
Visiting after reading your message in SAQA. I just want to mention that if you haven’t already done it you should install and activate Askimet – it should handle most of your spam. If you have any questions let me know.
BTW – your stitching is so impressive – the detail shot of the face had me dumbstruck! I can certainly understand why your back hurts!
